Based on the edge of the ‘Dark Peak’ region of the Peak District National Park, Castle Green Highland Ponies graze the Pennine hills of South Yorkshire at altitudes of around 800 feet above sea level, living out all year round. This provides them with the same natural setting, as they would experience in their native Highlands of Scotland.
